Sigh.

CS: Well, maybe in our lifetime we can be rsponsible in ways that inspire other people to also be responsible and hopefully build a ripple effect, one person at a time. I know that (at least there) some owners do put the signs up to protect the wildlife from out of season hunters and - unfortunately - from visitors that do not respect the environment. I guess there is also the matter of not wanting to be liable in case of an injury.CanadianSwisshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07643821249467079199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10327858.post-1168134982645472982007-01-07T02:56:00.000+01:002007-01-07T02:56:00.000+01:00I share your lament!I share your lament!Tim Ricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01305530681191503858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10327858.post-1168033352174303842007-01-05T22:42:00.000+01:002007-01-05T22:42:00.000+01:00You are so delightfully funny, Ms. Clo! :)You are so delightfully funny, Ms. Clo! :)Ginnie Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14014434422568561157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10327858.post-1168021387348977342007-01-05T19:23:00.000+01:002007-01-05T19:23:00.000+01:00Maybe you should return and add another sign: "NO...Maybe you should return and add another sign: "NO SIGN ALLOWED!!!"
Hee, hee... :O)Clohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13956818277673750111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10327858.post-1167961794169473472007-01-05T02:49:00.000+01:002007-01-05T02:49:00.000+01:00Tor: Great observation! Maybe there ARE issues with encroachment by hunters, etc. No one wants the liability of someone getting hurt on their land. So sad.

ET: I wonder how they DO get around this in other countries?! But yes, it's definitely better than the alternative (building complexes). This is way out in the boonies still, away from small towns, so I don't think we'll ever have to worry about that, thank God!

THR: That is way too funny. :)

Susan d: I'm sure there is truth to that, not wanting the liability of death or injury, because there are deer there!
