Believe it or not, with this post I start a new year of Watercolor Sundays and Saturday's Colors here on this blog. My first stab at showing my Facebook entries here was September 2015. That means I have completed 52 weeks of Watercolor Sunday and Saturday's Color for one year. Let's see if I can continue this journey...which has actually been quite soulful for me, as well as a challenge.

Friends in England gave me this Vintage Patterns book 2 years ago, full of patterns
celebrating "a golden age of art and design." This one does remind me of something from my youth
that I can't put my finger on...maybe a dress my mom wore??? LOL.

I keep coming back to my Kaleido Color book on black-background paper because it...
just "does something" to me. I also keep coming back to the four primary colors, I see
(correction: I mean 3--blue, red, yellow, with one added secondary color--green)!

Last Saturday Astrid bought me a 12" x 12" DUTCH MANDALAS book,
which I tackled immediately. Remember, it doesn't take much to make me happy!
And, yes, we are now safe-n-sound in Bath, England, with our photography friends.
There you have it...the start of a new year of soulful happiness.
I love all of them but the windmills are my favourite. Beautiful!

DeleteAnother month went by and again this post with all your creativity. Love it. For some reason the windmills are wonderful, I think the simplicity of these landmarks and how well they turned out is the reason. I am looking forward to the next month. IHVJ.
