Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2008!

After holiday celebrations here at home, at Donica's mom's and her cousin's, at Ruth and Don's farm in Michigan, followed by the family cottage, I'm sorting through some 1,000 photos! YES! You could say I have my work cut out for me.

But for today, here are some windows and doors from the farm's barn, beckoning us to open our eyes and look out onto this new year.

For each and every one of us, may this new year surprise us with Joy. If we keep our eyes open and look out the windows, maybe there will be all kinds of open doors through which we can walk. I wish that for you and me both.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  1. Really lovely - my kind of shots. I especially like the one at the very top that is almost abstract.

  2. Gelukkig Nieuwjaar Ginnie, these pictures are stunning again, the colouring is great so is the lighting, but photography is your heart and soul. A new year is ahead of us, we are responsible what we make of this year, but sharing these picures will make it very easy to make it a Happy Year.
Ginnie and Donica all best wishes for the year 2008, hartelijke groeten, Astrid.

  3. Ginny,
Happy New Year to you as well.
Yes with that many photos you will be busy all day long. But can't wait to see what you have. Great photos, I won't be able to get on here all the time for awhile as we are leaving for vacation in a couple of days, so not sure what kind of internet connection i will have, but will catch up eventually. Heading to Quartzite Az where i hope it is going to be a lot warmer.
