Here's the Kicker

Submitted to Tuesdays Photos for "Sign"

Sometimes you just don't know what you get until you see it up on the big screen! Such was the case with this parked car when out on a Hannover walk the other day. I couldn't have lined up the reflected car across the street with the "Sportmagazin" if I had tried!

Yes, I'm back in Atlanta, safe-n-sound, after a long day. It's hard to believe I really was in Hannover this morning, many eons ago, it seems. Donica comes home tomorrow from Brussels. And life just goes on, doesn't it!

  1. Still I love the pic... I guess the trick is to keep trying to do what you think is impossible for now. ;-)

  3. That's a great picture! I love it. Yes, sometimes it's what you don't see when you're taking it that makes it. I have one I'll have to show you some time from my wedding - someone took a picture of me sitting in a car as we arrived at the church and later we saw that my maid of honour's face was reflected in the window right beside mine.

Good to know you're home safe and sound.

  5. Thanks to everyone for the welcome home!

ET(2): That's ET to the power of 2, of course :) I think those "impossible" things are sometimes the simplest things because they happen without you trying :)

Christina: Oh, I want to see that picture of yours! Show it to all of us, please!!

Bettina: Nürnberg, huh? So I've learned something new. I have no idea why they were in Hannover. Maybe for my photographic pleasure :)

  9. Ginnie, I know this is kinda early to ask, as you just left Hannover (good to see you safely home), but when will you be back again? There is this other thing I'd like to show you...

  10. MP: Better late than never, they say, but I would not call this late! And of course you work a lot. Not everyone is retired like me!!

Bettina: Oh my, it's never too early to ask because we usually have the next trip planned before we come home :) Donica's schedule is different than mine but I'll return on May 21st (arriving Hannover Monday the 22nd) and will be there till June 15th (with a 12-day Scandinavian cruise in the middle). Now you've got my curiosity!! :)
