Actually, I'm talking about YOU. My In Soul blogger friends! Most of you know by now that I have two blogs: this one that's been going strong for 2+ years and my Shutterchance (SC) Hart & Soul photoblog that I started last October. Two entirely different blogs and sites and neighborhoods. I started the photoblog only because I wanted to see some of my favorite photos in a larger format.
BUT, you will always have first place in my heart. I started with you and you have stuck with me through thick and thin.
THEREFORE, before I post these GA Aquarium pics next week, one by one (on the larger SC screen), I want to show them all in one "swell foop" to you first. These are pics I took this past Monday when I took Judy to see the world's largest aquarium, here in Atlanta.

Ginnie - More beautiful then in person! It was a fantastic day and what wonderful images you have captured. Takes me there again. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for thanking of us... I go to the other site too from time to time, but what I love here is the talking! :)))) I really enjoy going to aquariums and the one in Vancouver was FANTASTIC! We have a small one in Quebec.... I have never visited it... Bad bad bad MP! :))))
ReplyDeleteI meant thinking... My English is NOT improving... Hhehhehe!
ReplyDeleteHit after hit. Fantastic captures. Understand very well you will look at them in a large format. Can't wait to go to your photoblog to have each one displayed full screen. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely fishy photos, and such detail and vivid colours. I assume GA Aquarium is in Atlanta somewhere?
ReplyDeleteAhh, these are absolutely stunning. You're a pro.
ReplyDeleteAnd we love you too! :-)
P.S. I'll e mail you later if I can dig my way out from under all this luggage!
Awww, Shucks, Ginnie! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the jellyfish - at the aquarium in Boston, you can change the colour of the jellyfish with a dial that changes the colour of the lights. But mostly I love the floating crab! How Star Trek!
Oh goody!
ReplyDeleteYou treat us very well, m'lady. :)
Judy: No way is this more beautiful than in person, but I love that this is a good memory for you! :)
ReplyDeleteMP: HA! Yes, there's more talking here, for sure. I try hard not to talk too much over there. :) You should go to the aquarium in Quebec and take pics for us, please?!
MP: Your English is better than my French by far! And we all make typos!!
Tor: You're always such a sweetheart! Thanks.
Ex-S: Oh, yes--it's here in Atlanta. Thanks.
Christina: That's right--you're getting ready for your trip to Denmark tomorrow. Maybe you'll see some fish in the water. :)
RRD: That green "moon" jelly fish was in a tank where it changed color and that was so cool. Yes, I think the floating crab is my favorite, too, because Donica and Nicholas are both Crabs/Cancers. :)
Ruth: Awww, shucks. You deserve every bit of it. :)
Thanks for the sneak preview! It's funny, I met you through Shutterchance, but I enjoy this blog more. ;-)
ReplyDeleteJaw-dropping color... I was about to say the turtle is my favorite but on closer inspection I see they're all fanastic. Great job!
ReplyDeleteKaren: I can't think of anything you could say that's more wonderful! In many ways they are worlds apart, aren't they. SC is more of a "critique factory" that has its pros and cons. Blogger has more of a "let it all hang out" feel. I value both (and to think I almost quit SC after my first week, until I figured out all the Egos!). BUT, In Soul is definitely special and set apart. My First Love!
ReplyDeleteLisa: You are such a sweetheart. Thank you. Donica is "my" turtle, so I have lots of pics of it. :)
Speechless!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat must be an amazing aquarium, and you are obviously just the photographer to do it justice. :)
You are always way too kind with your praise, DW, but I do graciously accept your vote of confidence. :) You are one of my "first loves" who has crossed over from time to time, which means the world to me. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I want to visit the aquarium again here really soon! I love the photos!
ReplyDeleteI haven't taken many photos lately.. Not much to do in the pouring rain...
Fantastic Aquarium Pictures! Gotta love them all. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, the turtle is amazing and grabs the attention first, but the rest are uniquely different.
ReplyDeleteWe skipped the aquarium in New Orleans, thinking nothing could compare to Shedd Aquariuam in Chicago, but I'm having second thoughts now.
ET: Thanks! I bet you'd get some good pics and that's definitely something to do when it's raining outside. :)
ReplyDeleteTim: You're a sweetheart. Thanks.
Susan: Even though Atlanta's aquarium is the biggest, we have been to many wonderful aquariums over the years. We DID see the one on New Orleans, actually, though I can't remember it. I do remember that I first saw the Leafy Sea Dragons at the Chattanooga aquarium and was astounded by them. I have NOT been to the one in Chicago. Anyway, yes, especially now that we have Nicholas (6-1/2), we try to go often.
Awww, your so sweet Ginnie and you know we love you too! I so much remember I met you in blogsphear about a year ago and really enjoy your posts and pictures. This once was breath taking - thanks for sharing and you know I love to visit your other blog too.
ReplyDeleteI do my best :) Life gets a bit hectic at times. I don't believe my praise is over the top by the way...they really are fantastic shots. Amazing colours.
ReplyDeleteRenny: I do count you as a dear friend! And being from Norway is an added plus! :) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteDW: Now I'm blushing. Thank you kindly!
I can see why you would want to share these photos- they are beautiful beyond words. Swede just happens to be playing a song on his guitar called "Mysterious Habitats" by Dusan Bogdanovic. The whole experience brought tears to my eyes- two people entreating my senses to so much beauty. Two people I know and love!
ReplyDeleteWow, Rachel! I might not see you for awhile but when you come back, you come with a bang! Thank you for sharing that.
ReplyDeleteWelcome:)
