Oh dear, poor you. Must be rather hard to have to wait it out.

Being an ocean away from one's kids is already a bit stressful, I have found, but now that I couldn't get to them if I tried, it's notched up the volume a bit. My flight home is in 2 1/2 weeks so I hope things are resolved before then! Got my fingers crossed that you'll be able to get out soon, Ginnie. Now I'll pop over to V&V.

  2. Great picture and I do hope you can fly soon and have a great time with your children and Nicholas.
The 'not knowing when you fly' is not a good feeling, however we stay positive, tonight the first flight of the KLM is to New York.

  4. Deborah: I feel like I'm on an emotional roller coaster...again. UGH. The thing is, flights are now starting to go out but it's hour-by-hour and day-by-day. And it's also assuming the sister volcano doesn't erupt. Lawd have mercy! I'll put the word out there when I have in fact flown out!

Astrid: You are seeing the emotional toll this is taking on me. Thanks for standing by my side. Bottom line, I know everything will happen as it's meant to be. The not knowing part is always the hardest! But we've already been there and done that, right???

ET: Keep your fingers crossed...it's almost Wednesday!

    It's simply great.

Know how it is regarding ashes and cancelled flights. I was supposed to go to Northern Norway this weekend, but .... no chance
